Garden in the Woods is a botanical garden located in Framingham, Massachusetts. The garden is operated by the New England Wild Flower Society and covers 45 acres. It is home to more than 1,000 species of native plants and is a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and those interested in horticulture.
The garden is open to the public from late April through mid-October, and admission is charged. There are a variety of self-guided and guided tours available, as well as educational programs and events throughout the season. Some of the highlights of the garden include a woodland wildflower garden, a rock garden, a fern grotto, and a water garden.
In addition to its beautiful gardens, Garden in the Woods is also home to a number of educational facilities, including a library and a research center. The garden is a popular spot for birdwatching, and is home to a variety of bird species, including warblers, thrushes, and vireos. The garden is a designated Audubon Important Bird Area and is a popular spot for birdwatchers.
