West Seattle Herbarium

Founded in 2024 by students at Atlas Summit School, the mission of the West Seattle Herbarium is to better understand the flora of West Seattle. The WSH is a “library of life” for the West Seattle area. It provides an opportunity for any resident or visitor to contribute to an ever-growing body of knowledge and a reservoir of local plant DNA, both wild and cultivated.
