The 78-acre Santa Barbara Botanic Garden was founded in 1926. Home to a diverse collection of plants and special collections, including rare and endangered species, the garden is particularly renowned for its collection of California native plants. Native collections include special collections representing each of the Channel Islands, a desert garden, and a Redwood forest, among others.
In addition to its beautiful gardens, the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is home to a cutting edge native plant conservation laboratory and specializes in land restoration. It also features advanced art and educational programming.
This must-see garden is open to tours by reservation, and is also available for rental for private events.
